amazing views, convenient restaurants, efficient air conditioning
The "private balcony" lacks true privacy and has outdated furniture!!! Room cleanliness needs attention as dust gathered quickly!!! Shower environment can leave toiletries drenched and the fridge should definitely chill better!!!

Staying at Villa Maria Damigou was an amazing experience. The views from the balcony were absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while sitting in the hot tub was one of the highlights of the trip. Our room, the Grand Suite with Caldera View & Hot Tub, had two balconies that offered comfy chairs where we could relax and enjoy the scenery. Breakfast was a delightful treat, served in our room daily. Gigi at reception made everything easy, arranging transfers and offering great local tips—her help was invaluable. The location in Firostefani was perfect, not too crowded but still close to shops and restaurants. One downside was the firmness of the mattress. it wasn’t the most comfortable for sleeping, but everything else was worth it. Housekeeping did a thorough job, keeping the room tidy throughout our stay. We loved every moment there, but that mattress could use a little improvement for a better night’s sleep.

The Grand Suite with Caldera View & Hot Tub was superb. It had two balconies with comfy chairs and a hot tub perfect for sunsets. Breakfast was served each morning, with fresh pastries and coffee. The air conditioning worked fantastic, and the staff, especially Gigi, were super helpful with recommendations and arranging transfers.

I enjoyed my time in a suite with a great view of the caldera. Each morning, I had breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea. It was a nice way to start my day. The location had the advantage of being quiet while still close to cafes and shops. Maria helped with my luggage, which made my arrival less stressful.
The mattress could have been more comfortable. The shared verandah situation did not offer enough privacy when wanting to relax.

Couples looking for romance
The overall experience was quite personal, you know? We walked out on the balcony every night for those fine views, felt like it was just us and the stars. One evening, we found the hot tub under the stars, it was a real nice touch-just the two of us, quiet, romantic, makes you feel like you’re in a movie.
It wasn’t exactly pocket change, but for what we got, it was acceptable.

My kids wished for a kid-friendly pool area.

We had an amazing time with our friends soaking in the views and lounging in the hot tub. The location was perfect for exploring both the beaches and the ancient ruins nearby. Breakfast at our doorstep was a nice touch, making our mornings extra special. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax with friends.
Unfortunately, we faced communication issues when trying to reach out for additional services. It was tough to get responses to our inquiries, which caused some frustration during our stay.

We really enjoyed our spacious master suite with stunning caldera views and the amazing hot tub that made our evenings special. The hotel offered a peaceful spa and a lovely outdoor lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The wifi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn’t ruin our fantastic experience at all. 🌅
